WHAT IS AN AUDIOLOGIST/LICENSED HEARING AID SPECIALIST?

An audiologist and/or licensed hearing aid specialist is a regulated professional who conducts a complete battery of hearing tests.

  • Molds and impressions
  • Prescription of hearing aids and accessories
  • Repairs of existing aids (when deemed appropriate)

Our Scheduling

On-Site Specialists coordinates audiology clinic dates as well as individual assesments when appropriate.

AUDIOLOGISTS RECOMMEND HEARING TESTS SHOULD BE PERFORMED EVERY 2 YEARS FOR:

  • Anyone who uses hearing aids and/or devices
  • Patients who have had any rapid deterioration in hearing.

The assessments that are arranged by On-Site Specialists are comprehensive and intended to help the patient and family gain an improved knowledge of hearing loss and provide a course of action to be taken.
